When you press the power button but the computer does not start, or starts without displaying anything on the screen, first check that all cables are properly connected inside and outside the machine. Also make sure to unplug all USB peripherals.
Make sure the power outlet is working properly. The charging light should be on. If it is not, this indicates a failure that requires replacing the charger.
Remove the battery and try to start the PC without it, by connecting it directly to the mains. If the PC works in this configuration, the problem comes from the battery, which will need to be replaced to use the computer in portable mode. You will find new official Asus batteries on our site.
It is recommended to test the suspected faulty hardware with an identical component to confirm the source of the problem.
If your screen remains black:
Connect another screen to the available ports on your PC. If this screen works properly, the problem may be with the original screen, which may need to be replaced.
