The surface of the touchpad is sensitive to pressure. If not properly maintained, it can easily be damaged. Here are some precautions to properly clean the touchpad of your Asus laptop:
- Avoid any contact of the touchpad with dust, liquids, or grease.
- Do not touch the touchpad if your fingers are dirty or wet.
- Do not place any heavy objects on the touchpad or its buttons.
- Do not use your nails or any other object to scratch the touchpad.
Note: The touchpad responds to movements, not force. Pressing harder on the surface will not enhance the responsiveness of the touchpad. It responds better to light pressures.
