The various connectors of your laptop

DC Power Supply Connector: Connector linking your computer to the power outlet via your charger (there are several types of tips of different shapes and sizes).
USB 3 Port (Type A): 3rd generation USB port (blue color), used to connect devices with low power consumption such as USB drives, external SSDs, keyboards, printers, scanners, etc. Its transfer speed is 4 Gbit/s (10 times faster than a USB 2 connector).
Mini Display Port: This port allows you to connect a computer to another monitor or a home theater system.
VGA Port: This port allows you to connect your computer to a second screen or a projector.
USB 3 Port (Type C): Similar to the USB 3 port, the only difference is that the connector is smaller.
Mini HDMI Port: The HDMI port allows you to connect your computer to an audio/video source, such as a Blu-ray player, another computer, an HD TV, a projector, a home theater, or a virtual reality headset.
Audio/Microphone Jack: This port allows you to connect headphones (audio) or a microphone (micro) to your computer.
SD Card Reader: This port allows you to connect an SD card (several SD card formats exist: SD, Mini SD, or Micro SD, depending on your format, you will need an adapter to connect your card to the computer).
USB 2 Port: 2nd generation USB port (black color), used to connect devices with low power consumption such as a USB drive, an external SSD, a keyboard, a printer, a scanner, etc. Its transfer speed is 480 Mbit/s (10 times slower than a USB 3 connector).
RJ45 Port: This port allows you to connect your computer to your internet connection (wired mode).
