Accessing the BIOS of the ROG Ally: Complete Guide

Do you want to change advanced system settings or perform a firmware update?

Here are two simple methods to access the BIOS of your ROG Ally.

Method 1: Using the buttons at startup

  1. Completely turn off your ROG Ally console.
  2. Press the power button.
  3. Immediately after, hold down the volume (-) button.
  4. The BIOS/UEFI setup will automatically appear on the screen.

Method 2: Accessing the BIOS from Windows

  1. Open Settings > System > Recovery.
  2. Click on Advanced startup > Restart now.
  3. Once restarted, select:
    Troubleshoot > Advanced options > UEFI Firmware Settings
  4. Click Restart to open the BIOS.
