To enable the keyboard backlight on an Asus laptop, you can use the function keys dedicated to adjusting the keyboard brightness.
Turn on your Asus laptop.
Press the Fn key and the key to increase the keyboard lighting simultaneously. Depending on the model, these are usually the F3 or F4 keys.
Each press increases the keyboard backlight level.
If the backlight does not turn on, we recommend checking the following points:
Make sure your Asus computer model actually has a backlit keyboard.
Check the settings in the MyASUS application or in the device BIOS.
Install the latest system and driver updates via Windows Update or MyASUS.
If the backlight remains inactive despite these checks, it may be a hardware issue related to the keyboard or its connection cable.
